Seneca Siberian Husky Club was founded in 1972 by a small, but dedicated group of Siberian Husky owners in the Rochester, NY area. Our main purpose continues to be protecting the natural qualities and working nature of the pure bred Siberian Husky, while supporting education of present and future Siberian Husky owners.
SSHC meetings take place on the 2nd Saturday of the month. We encourage members to participate and have fun. We provide many enjoyable activities for owners and dogs! Visitors and Guests are welcome at all meetings!
Through long hours of work and preparation the Seneca Siberian Husky Club received approval in 1985 to hold AKC sanctioned specialty shows.
Each May we hold our annual specialty show. It has become a wonderful western NY tradition much anticipated by fanciers across the area. In 2014 we were able to offer two shows for the first time.
A bi-monthly newsletter distributed to club members to share club information and activities. This publication also includes our monthly meeting notes, club member highlights and helpful articles.
